Our beginning

We did not begin
with a bicycle.

We began with the feeling that comes just before one.

A child holds the handlebars. A parent keeps one hand close. Both are excited. Neither is completely ready to let go.

That quiet, universal moment became the heart of MIBO. We saw that a first ride is not really about distance. It is about trust: the trust a child begins to place in themselves, and the trust a parent learns to place in their child.

So we imagined a brand for beginnings — products that feel calm enough for parents, inviting enough for children and thoughtful enough to become part of a family's story.

How the idea became MIBO

The question

Could a first bicycle feel less intimidating?

Our story began with a familiar pause: a child eager to move forward and a parent learning when to let go. We wondered why a first bicycle should feel like a smaller adult bike, rather than something created around the emotional size of a first ride.

The promise

Start with reassurance, then add wonder.

That question became the MIBO promise. Build dependable support into the structure. Make everyday use simple for families. Then add enough personality that a child sees not just a bicycle, but a companion waiting by the door.

The first expression

One thoughtful bike brought the idea to life.

The MIBO children's bicycle became our first complete expression of that belief: a steady beginning, a foldable answer to real homes, a basket for small treasures and playful training wheels that turn practice into possibility.

The MIBO bicycle is designed around a transition: from being held to moving independently, from “I'm not sure” to “watch me.”

At its side swims a small dolphin — a character chosen for its curiosity, playfulness and instinct to stay close to its pod. For a child, it becomes a friendly presence. For us, it is a reminder that independence grows best when connection is never far away.

The training wheels are not a symbol of what a child cannot do. They are permission to begin before certainty arrives. The basket is not simply storage; it gives the rider a place to bring a piece of their world along. The foldable frame respects the homes and routines that make every adventure possible.
